More than duty - a Investment in security

Fires are rarely planned, but are almost always preventable. Comprehensive fire protection not only ensures safety in the event of an emergency, but also provides legal protection in everyday life.

Immotech supports you in implementing your fire protection obligations - whether for commercial properties, public buildings or residential complexes. Our services range from the standard-compliant maintenance of fire doors to support from certified specialists.

Our understanding of fire protection

Fire protection is a process - not just a one-off measure. It must be maintained, checked and documented. This includes

  • Structural measures (e.g. fire doors)
  • Organisational activities (controls, representatives)
  • Technical systems (fire alarms, SHEV systems)
  • Training and sensitisation of those involved

We accompany you throughout this entire cycle - competently, in compliance with standards and practice-orientated.

FAQ

Questions and answers to Fire protection at a glance

Who is responsible for the inspection/maintenance and control of fire protection equipment?

The building owner or operator is responsible for ensuring that all fire protection equipment is regularly inspected and maintained. The work is usually carried out by specialised companies or licensed companies.

What are self-inspections in fire protection?

Self-checks in fire protection are regular inspections of safety-relevant equipment and organisational measures in order to identify fire hazards at an early stage and rectify defects.

How are self-checks regulated in Austria?

These inspections are defined in accordance with TRVB 120 O "Organisational fire protection - self-inspection - inspection plan" in conjunction with TRVB 117 O - "Organisational fire protection - training" & TRVB 119 O - "Organisational fire protection". These guidelines define the training of the inspection body as well as the minimum requirements for carrying out self-inspections in buildings, unless other legal regulations or manufacturer specifications exist.
